2004 Yale Bernstein Fellowship

The Robert L. Bernstein Fellowship in International Human Rights, inaugurated in 1997, funds two recent Yale Law School graduates annually to engage in full-time human rights work for a year. The Fellowship is intended especially to encourage innovative approaches to human rights advocacy, and work on important human rights issues that have received little attention. Bernstein fellows at the Lawyers Committee work within one of our program areas and receive a $37,500 salary for the year, plus a generous benefits package.

If you are a recent Yale Law School graduate and are interested in working with the Lawyers Committee through a Bernstein fellowship, we encourage you to contacts us to discuss possible projects before applying.
