2004 Furman Fellowship

The Furman Foundation sponsors 1 human rights fellowship every year at the Lawers Committee. This fellowship is exclusively available to a New York University School of Law graduate. The Fellow is paid $40,000, works in one of LCHR's programs, is based in either the New York or Washington, DC office, and travels on missions when needed.

LCHR staff will give a presentation at NYU about the Committee’s work and the fellowship opportunity. Applications are available from the NYU Public Interest Law Center in the Fall, are due by the end of January, and a candidate is selected by February 15th.
