It was during the late 80's, before the internet and DVD's, that I first caught a glimpse of the actress named Paula E. Sheppard. I had bought a copy of Alfred Sole's 1976 movie Alice, Sweet Alice at the local K-mart. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting anything exciting about this low budget film. The story-line didn't sound too good, and the pictures on the cover seemed dated.

However, Paula changed my whole perspective. Her performance was so awesome, that I became an instant fan of hers. The next day I called the local video rental store to find out if Paula was in any other movies. Much to my dismay, there was only one other film that Paula appeared in, Slava Tsukerman's 1982 cult classic Liquid Sky.

I rushed out and rented Tsukerman's film. Again, Paula's performance was simply amazing. Years later, I am now able to give her proper appreciation on the internet.Read More
